Kiex is an app that helps you track your weight and nutrition. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected while using the app, how it's used, and how it's protected. By using Kiex, you agree to this policy.
Your profile information (age, height, weight, goals), meal logs (photos, calorie/macro estimates), weight history, step data, and any mood tags are stored only on your device, in local storage (Hive) — this data is never sent to our servers.
If you link an account (with Apple/Google), only your email address, provider ID, and subscription status are stored in a separate, isolated database on Cloudflare D1, completely independent from your health/food/weight data.
Data on your device is used only to show you personalized calorie/weight goals, present your meal history, and build the trend/report screens. Account data is used only for authentication, managing your subscription status (Kiex Pro), and the optional cross-device sync feature planned for the future.
Each of these services is governed by its own privacy policy.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for advertising or any other purpose. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above (Google Gemini, RevenueCat, Apple/Google authentication), and only to the extent necessary to provide the service.
Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all health/food/weight data stored there. If you've linked an account, you can contact us to request deletion of the data associated with your account.
We may update this policy from time to time. You'll be notified in-app of any significant changes.
